CHOE – Natural Candles from Corfu

Where Ancient Inspiration Meets Modern Craft

CHOE is a Corfiot candle brand rooted in art, design, and nature. Each candle is handcrafted to order, using only natural and sustainable materials — from pure Greek beeswax and natural soy wax to wood, fabric, glass, and bronze.

Our designs draw deeply from Ancient Greek culture, celebrating timeless aesthetics and traditions that still echo in the modern world. Each piece is both a functional object and a work of art, made with care and intention.

Fragrances are inspired by the Mediterranean landscape — sun-drenched herbs, citrus groves, wildflowers, and coastal breezes. We choose only our most beloved and evocative scents, designed to create a sense of calm, memory, and presence.

At CHOE, we’re committed to reducing waste and minimizing our ecological footprint. Every candle is made only upon request, with an emphasis on slow production and sustainable luxury.

Patounis Soap – A Corfu Tradition of Pure Olive Oil Soap

Five Generations of Natural Soap-Making

Here on Corfu, some things are still done the way they’ve always been — with patience, honesty, and care. Patounis Soap Works is one of those rare places.

This small family-run soap factory has been making pure, traditional olive oil soap for over five generations, using locally produced olive products and the same time-honored methods passed down from father to son since the 19th century.

All Patounis soaps are:

  • 100% natural and vegan

  • Free from additives, perfumes, or dyes

  • Biodegradable and eco-friendly

The factory itself is a preserved working monument — a beautiful 19th-century space where the original tools and equipment are still in use today.

Patounis soap is unscented, but has its own natural, gentle aroma — the honest scent of pure olive oil soap, made with nothing but tradition, craftsmanship, and local ingredients.

If you’d like to explore this local treasure while staying at innjoy.space — or take a bar of Corfiot heritage home with you — just let us know. We’re always happy to share the good stuff.

Salty Bag – Sailing Towards a Sustainable Future

First imagined during a yacht racing seminar in January 2013, Salty Bag has since become a pioneer of sustainable fashion in Greece. From its inception, the brand has been dedicated to crafting handbags, totes, and homeware from upcycled sails — each item a unique piece of maritime history.

With reuse and reusability at the heart of its design philosophy, Salty Bag creates products that are durable, low-impact, and built to last — and can even be repurposed into new bags at the end of their life. Every piece is made exclusively from upcycled, reused, recycled, or recyclable materials, embodying a closed-loop approach to sustainability.

But what truly sets Salty Bag apart is the storytelling woven into every stitch. Each sail that arrives at their workshop is carefully researched — allowing every bag to be traced back to its journey: where it sailed, its home port, how many nautical miles it covered, and the seas and stories that shaped its past.

With Salty Bag, sustainability is not just a practice — it’s a narrative.

Myrto Zirini – Ceramics with Soul and Substance

Myrto Zirini is a designer and ceramic artist based in Corfu Town, where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces in her studio and showroom nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Mouragia.

With a background in architecture, Myrto returned to her creative roots through ceramics — a medium that allows her to explore form, texture, and movement in new and deeply personal ways. Her work plays with organic, fluid shapes, balancing rough and smooth surfaces to evoke both natural spontaneity and quiet intention.

Fascinated by the plasticity of clay and how dynamic forms are forever ‘petrified’ through firing, she creates a wide range of pieces — from homeware like bowls, cups, and lamps to large-scale sculptural vessels and expressive, purely sculptural works.

Myrto is also passionately engaged in reviving the use of local Corfiot clay, reconnecting her craft with the island’s material heritage and landscape.

Every piece is not only handmade — but rooted in a sense of place, process, and poetry.
